Punk band ULICZNY OPRYSZEK (Street Ruffian/Street Hoodlum) was created in 1991 in a small town called Nowy Tomyśl near Poznań. Inspiracją do powstania utworu była lektura książki Fabiana Balickiego Więcej niż piłka nożna? St. Pauli jest tą możliwością oraz koncert, który zagraliśmy w pubie przy stadionie MILLERNTOR - FC ST. PAULI w kwietniu 2017 roku w Hamburgu.
Nasze fascynacje ideą tego klubu zostały wyrażone w tekście, który napisał dla nas Janusz Reichel.

This text was inspired by the book Więcej niż piłka nożna? St. Pauli jest tą możliwością by Fabian Balicki and the concert which we played in the pub near the MILLERNTOR - FC ST. PAULI stadium in April 2017 in Hamburg.
We are fascinated by the idea of this club and our feelings were expressed by Janusz Reichel who wrote this text for us.

Die Inspiration für Entstehung des Liedes waren die Lektüre des Buches von Fabian Balicki „Mehr als Fußball? St. Pauli ist die Möglichkeit“ und das Konzert, das wir in den Fanräumen des FC St. Pauli am MILLERNTOR Stadion im April 2017 in Hamburg gespielt haben. Unsere Faszination für die Idee dieses Klubs kam im Text zum Ausdruck, den für uns Janusz Reichel geschrieben hat.

Powstanie warszawskie (1944) było największym zrywem militarnym w okupowanej przez hitlerowców Europie. Naziści ponoszą odpowiedzialność za wszelkie zbrodnie. Do dziś w Polsce trwa dyskusja na temat zasadności wybuchu powstania. Było one tragiczne w skutkach, zginęło ok. 200 tysięcy cywilnych mieszkańców stolicy, a miasto zostało zrównane z ziemią. Niech liczą trupy… to wiersz poetki Anny Świrszczyńskiej, sanitariuszki powstania warszawskiego, która w swoim utworze oskarżyła dowódców o egoistyczne ambicje i brak odpowiedzialności za wywołanie powstania.

The Warsaw Uprising (1944) was the greatest military upsurge in the occupied by Nazis Europe. Nazis are responsible for all crimes. The discussion wheather the Uprising was a good or bad decission has been conducted in Poland for many years. The results of the Uprising were tragic- about 200 000 civil citizens of Warsaw died and the city itself was leveled. Make them count the corpses... is a poem by Anna Świrczyńska, a hospital orderly during the Uprising, who in her poem accused the commanders for egoistic ambitions and lack of resonsibility for bringing on the uprising.

Der Warschauer Aufstand (1944) war der größte militärische Aufstand im von den Nazis besetzten Europa. Die Nazis sind verantwortlich für alle Verbrechen. Bis heute wird in Polen über die Legitimität des Ausbruchs des Aufstands diskutiert. Er hatte tragische Folgen, etwa 200.000 Zivilisten aus der Hauptstadt starben, und die Stadt wurde dem Erdboden gleichgemacht. Lasst die Leichen zählen ... ist ein Gedicht der Dichterin Anna Świrszczyńska, einer Krankenschwester des Warschauer Aufstandes, In ihrem Gedicht beschuldigt sie die Befehlshaber selbstsüchtiger Ambitionen und Verantwortungslosigkeiten den Aufstand verursacht zu haben.

Bełkot net Polska to tekst Marcina Kornaka, zmarłego w 2014 roku znanego polskiego działacza społecznego, prezesa stowarzyszenia Nigdy Więcej. Tekst napisany w 2011 roku stał się dziś jeszcze bardziej aktualny w obecnej sytuacji politycznej w Polsce i rządów Jarosława Kaczyńskiego.

Gabble dot Poland is a text by Marcin Kornak, who died in 2014. He was a famous Polish community worker, the head of the association Nigdy Więcej [Never again ]. The text which was written in 2011 has became even more up-to-date nowadays at the times of political rules of Jarosław Kaczyński.

Geplapper net Polen ist ein Text von Marcin Kornak, dem 2014 verstorbenen, bekannten polnischen Sozialaktivisten und Präsidenten der Never Again Association. Der 2011 verfasste Text hat in der aktuellen politischen Situation in Polen, unter der Regierung von Jarosław Kaczyński, noch mehr Geltung erlangt.

Tekst utworu powstał na podstawie prawdziwych donosów pisanych przez Polaków do Gestapo. Polacy ukrywający Żydów, oprócz hitlerowców, obawiali się także swoich rodaków - szmalcowników, szantażystów i donosicieli. Tekst napisał specjalnie dla nas Janusz Reichel.

People say, that some of them had escaped from ghetto themselves.
Maybe this neighbour was involved in their flight.

The text was created on the basis of the real denouncing letters written by the Polish to Gestapo- the Secret Nazi Police. The Polish who hid the Jews were not only afraid of Hitlerites, but also of their countrymen- szmalcownicy (people who demanded money from Jews under threat of informing Nazis about them), blackmailers and informers. This text was written for us by Janusz Reichel.

Der Text des Liedes basierte auf echten Denunziationen, die von den Polen für die Gestapo geschrieben wurden. Polen, die Juden versteckten, hatten außer den Nazis auch Angst vor ihren Landsleuten - Staatsbürgern, Erpressern und Denunzianten. Der Text wurde von Janusz Reichel speziell für uns geschrieben.
