INKWIZYCJA is a hc/punk band, which was set up in 1989 in Kraków. They were Straight edge sympathizers. A poet from Kraków - Ex Pert - is the leader, vocalist and author of all lyrics. He had played in bands – Gonokok and UMO before. The band created its own original style from the very beginning and it joined the top of the independent stage. They recorded their debut album in 1991. It was entitled …Na własne podobieństwo… and was sold as LP record. It was the first LP record which was released by an independent company (Nikt Nic Nie Wie). The band suspended its activity after releasing the second album entitled Stare fotografie in 2004. They had a great comeback a few years ago...The song Statements (written by Ex Pert when he played in the band USTAWA O MŁODZIEŻY) is still played at the concerts of the band INKWIZYCJA. This short text is meaningful. The word becomes a stone and it flies between us...

INKWIZYCJA to kapela hc/punkowa, która powstała w 1989 roku w Krakowie, sympatyzowali z ruchem Straight edge. Liderem, wokalistą i autorem wszystkich tekstów jest Ex Pert, krakowski poeta. Wcześniej występował w grupach Gonokok i UOM. Od początku działalności INKWIZYCJA wytworzyła własny oryginalny styl i szybko dołączyła do czołówki polskiej sceny niezależnej. W 1991 roku nagrali debiutancki album …Na własne podobieństwo…, który ukazał się na płycie winylowej. Była to pierwsza LP wydana przez firmę niezależną (Nikt Nic Nie Wie). Po wydaniu kolejnego albumu Stare fotografie, w 2004 zespół zawiesił działalność. Powrócili w wielkim stylu kilka lat temu…
Piosenka Komunikaty (autorstwa Ex Perta powstała jeszcze w zespole Ustawa o Młodzieży) jest wciąż żywa na koncertach zespołu Inkwizycja. Tekst krótki, jednak jakże wymowny. Słowo kamieniem się stało i przelatuje między nami.
