DIE FALLEN – the band was operant in Olsztyn in 1985-1988. They were known by their original style – combo of raw punk and new wave. They performed at many festivals and in the clubs in Marian-Masurian voivodship. In 1986 with few other bands they formed OLSZTYŃSKĄ SCENĘ MUZYKI SUROWEJ (OLSZTYN RAW MUSIC SCENE) and organized music overviews. DIE FALLEN’s lyrics relates mainly to the reality in PRL and to the local subjects. They worked in ZOO (Związek Obrońców Olsztyna – The Union of Olsztyn Defenders) – the illegal anti-communist organization. Their records could be heard in the broadcast “Radio Nieprzemakalnych” run by Walter Chełstowski. Their farewell concert was played in the summer in Olsztyn at PTTK Camping. According to some witnesses it was their best gig. After changes in the group the band worked to 1990 as RED FALLEN. The Adwent band from Raciborz played a cover of “Turytsa” what is DIE FALLEN’s song.
Because of wordplay “the sick world” – “it’s okay” their song notice passive watching at negative changing world.

DIE FALLEN – zespół działający w Olsztynie w latach 1985-1988. Znani ze swego oryginalnego stylu – połączenia surowego punkowego brzmienia z nowofalowymi klimatami. Wystąpili na wielu festiwalach oraz w klubach na Warmii i Mazurach. W 1986 roku stworzyli z kilkoma zespołami OLSZTYŃSKĄ SCENĘ MUZYKI SUROWEJ i organizowali przeglądy muzyczne. Teksty DIE FALLEN odnosiły się głównie do PRL-owskiej rzeczywistości i tematyki regionalnej. Działali w nielegalnej organizacji antykomunistycznej ZOO (Związek Obrońców Olsztyna). Ich nagrania można było usłyszeć w audycjach „Radio Nieprzemakalnych” Waltera Chełstowskiego. Pożegnalny koncert zagrali latem w Olsztynie na Campingu PTTK. Według niektórych świadków był to ich najlepszy występ. Po zmianie składu zespół działał do 1990 roku jako RED FALLEN. Ich cover „Turysta” grał na koncertach zespół ADWENT z Raciborza.
Tekst DIE FALLEN przez grę słów „chory świat” – „dobrze jest” zwraca uwagę na bierne patrzenie na negatywnie zmieniający się świat.
