INSEKTY NA JAJACH was set up in 1984 in Łódź. They defined their music as speed hard core. They were inspired by such bands as Disorder or Discharge. They held rehearsals in undergrounds of the pre-war palace in Łódź, which used to be the seat of the Security service in the Communist Poland. They gave mainly concerts in Łódź, but managed also to play in Gdańsk and Kraków – together with MOSKWA. They never played at Jarocin Festival, because of their political lyrics. They ceased to exist in 1986.
The song For you was also played by other bands such as BEZ WYJŚCIA from Poznań, or HOMOMILITIA from Łódź. The band INSEKTY draws a pessimistic picture of own city. Is Łódź still so dirty and ugly? Breath calmly – that’s all for you.

Łódzkie INSEKTY NA JAJACH powstały w 1984 roku określając swoją muzykę jako speed hard core. W rzeczywistości chłopaków inspirowały takie kapele jak Disorder czy Discharge. Próby odbywali w podziemiach przedwojennego pałacu w Łodzi, który wcześniej przez wiele lat był siedzibą Urzędu Bezpieczeństwa. Koncertowali głównie u siebie, udało im się jednak zagrać także w Gdańsku i w Krakowie u boku Moskwy. Nigdy nie wystąpili na festiwalu w Jarocinie, jak twierdzili, z powodu politycznych tekstów. Zespół zakończył działalność około 1986 roku.
Piosenkę Dla ciebie grały również takie kapele, jak Bez Wyjścia z Poznania czy Homomilitia z Łodzi. Zespół INSEKTY kreśli pesymistyczny obraz własnego miasta. Czy Łódź jest dziś nadal tak brudna i brzydka? Oddychaj spokojnie, to wszystko dla ciebie…
