KONTROLA W. (Kontrola Władzy) (G. CONTROL – Government Control) – the new wave-punk quartet from Zduńska Wola (Łódź voivodship) was formed two days before the martial law. After few local gigs in 1982 the band performed at Jarocin Festival and at Rockowisko in Łódź where it was awarded. The next year, 1983, brought them bigger gigs – they played at „Rock Arena” in Poznań, “Rock and Bałtykiem” in Kołobrzeg and in Jarocin as invited guest. Unfortunately in the same year the group disbanded because its members started study in various cities in Poland. They came back with new name KOSMETYKI MRs PINKI in 1985 gaining an appreciation of new wave scene. The most media person of Kontrola W. and Kosmetyki Mrs Pinki was Wojtek Jagielski – the drummer who in 1999-2003 was running well known talk-show “Wieczór z Wampirem”.
“TV news” is about the fourth power what in wrong hands of people who are subordinated to the party may become a tool of propaganda and manipulation. The song is very timely in current reality.

KONTROLA W. (Kontrola Władzy) – kwartet nowofalowo-punkowy ze Zduńskiej Woli (woj. łódzkie) powstał dwa dni przed stanem wojennym. Po kilku lokalnych koncertach w 1982 roku zespół wystąpił na festiwalu jarocińskim oraz na Rockowisku w Łodzi, gdzie został wyróżniony. Rok 1983 przyniósł im sporo dużych koncertów – zagrali m.in. na „Rock Arena” w Poznaniu, „Rock nad Bałtykiem” w Kołobrzegu oraz w Jarocinie już jako zaproszony gość. Niestety jeszcze w tym samym roku kapela przestała istnieć po tym, jak członkowie zespołu podjęli studia w różnych miastach Polski. Wrócili do gry pod nazwą KOSMETYKI MRS PINKI w 1985 roku, zdobywając uznanie na scenie new-wave. Najbardziej medialną postacią Kontroli W. i Kosmetyków był Wojtek Jagielski – perkusista, który w latach 1999-2003 prowadził znany talk-show w TV „Wieczór z Wampirem”.
„Dziennik telewizyjny” – o tym, że czwarta władza w rękach nieodpowiednich ludzi podporządkowanych partii może stać się narzędziem propagandy i manipulacji. Tekst niezwykle aktualny w obecnej rzeczywistości.
