ULICA (THE STREET) – the band formed in 1988 in Bytom (Silesian voivodship) was one of precursors independent scene. In the beginning they were performing with unusual instruments for punk rock – trumpet, flute, however they were always rocking. They were associated with hc/punk record label “Nikt Nic Nie Wie” (its founders – WOŁU and USZATY – also wrote lyrics for ULICA band). In the early 90s they released two concert tapes “Bułka z serem” and “Między rzeźnią a kościołem”. In 1994 they released their only one studio material “Ulica”. Soon after the band suspended its activities.
In the “Inwestycja” (“Investment”) an entity is a cog in government machine. He has to be banausic, subordinate and has to “push the system”.

ULICA – zespół założony w 1988 roku w Bytomiu (woj. śląskie) był jednym z prekursorów sceny niezależnej. Początkowo występowali z instrumentami niecodziennymi dla punk rocka - trąbka i flet, zawsze jednak grali czadowo. Związani z wytwórnią hc/punk „Nikt Nic Nie Wie” (Jej założyciele WOŁU i USZATY pisali także teksty dla zespołu ULICA). Na początku lat 90-ych wydali dwie kasety koncertowe „Bułka z serem” i „Między rzeźnią a kościołem”. W 1994 roku wyszedł ich jedyny materiał studyjny pt „Ulica”. Niedługo potem zespół zawiesił działalność.
W „Inwestycji” jednostka to trybik państwowej machiny. Ma być utylitarna, podporządkowana i „pchać ten system”.
