CHAOS formed in Warsaw in October 1986. Their practices were taking a place in a small house in park next to Warsaw Skra. The house was given by cultural center. Texts of their songs remind Crass, they played like the DRI and were inspired by Motorhead. Their first big concert was played in Warsaw with TZN Xenna in 1987. They also shared the stage with Kult and Tilt. CHAOS was one of the first bands in nascent independent hc/punk scene in Poland which was fascinated of STRAIGHT EDGE idea. In 1989 the band qualified for the Jarocin Festival. In the same time guys went to study and after conferring they decided to disband – they chose education. They left a demo tape called “3” released in Enigmatic Tapes.
“Passion is not enough” is an anarchic-pacifistic text about nonsense of war, violence and forcing people to fight for their country. First of all we are the people not just nations. Politicians aren’t supposed to decide about individual’s life.

CHAOS powstał w Warszawie w październiku 1986 roku. Ich próby miały miejsce w udostępnionym przez ośrodek kultury małym domku, znajdującym się w parku przy warszawskiej Skrze. Tekstowo przypominali Crass, muzycznie grali jak DRI, a inspirowali się m.in. Motorhead. Pierwszy duży koncert zagrali w Warszawie u boku Tzn Xenny w 1987 roku. Dzielili też scenę z takimi zespołami jak Kult czy Tilt. CHOAS był jednym z pierwszych zespołów rodzącej się niezależnej sceny hc/punk w Polsce zafascynowanych ideą STRAIGHT EDGE. W 1989 roku zespół zakwalifikował się na festiwal jarociński. W tym samym czasie chłopaki dostali się na studia i po naradzie podjęli decyzję o zakończeniu działalności zespołu – wybrali wiedzę i wykształcenie. Zostawili po sobie kasetę demo pt. „3” wydaną w Enigmatic Tapes.
„Namiętności nie wystarczą” to anarchistyczno-pacyfistyczny tekst o bezsensie wojny, przemocy i zmuszania innych do walki w imię państwa. Jesteśmy przede wszystkim ludźmi a nie tylko narodami. Politycy nie powinni decydować o życiu jednostki.

When everyone understands it, the hungry will be the one who has been politician

Ty i twoje namiętności nie wystarczą, aby mnie przekonać
Że człowiek w swej doskonałości strzela w imię sprawiedliwości
Nie przekonasz mnie, że jest takie prawo, które mówi,
Że wojna jest konieczna, że jest to naturalna selekcja

Jesteśmy jednym społeczeństwem
