OKUPACJA 81’ (OCCUPATION 81’) – łódź punk rock band was formed in 1987. They played hard and fast in similar style like other bands from Łódź: Moskwa or Insects in Balls. In 1987 the band released a demo tape and some of the songs from it has been emitted mainly by Tomek Lipiński in “Radio Nieprzemakalnych” broadcast. In 1988 they get at Jarocin Festival and played on the Small Stage. They also performed in Warsaw (Karuzela club), Szczecin and Białystok. In the end of their activity in 1988 they released a tape “System of dead” where is the recording from their gig in Jarocin.
The song “Never” is a contestation of the existing world, shows the eternal opposition: “you-us”. The last verse of it introduces to the new world, so get ready: “It has come a time of punks!”. Is it the end or just the beginning? Sleep well…

OKUPACJA ’81 – łódzka kapela punkowa, która powstała we wrześniu 1987 roku. Grali ostro i szybko w podobnym stylu jak inne kapele z Łodzi typu Moskwa czy Insekty na Jajach. W 1987 roku zespół nagrał kasetę demo, z której kilka numerów było emitowanych w audycji „Radio Nieprzemakalnych” głównie przez Tomka Lipińskiego. W 1988 roku dostali się na festiwal do Jarocina i zagrali na małej scenie. Wystąpili także w Warszawie (klub Karuzela), w Szczecinie czy w Białymstoku. Na koniec swojej działalności w 1988 roku wydali kasetę pt. „System of dead”, na której znalazł się m.in. koncert jarociński.
Tekst „Nigdy” jest kontestacją zastanego świata, ujmuje odwieczną opozycję „wy” – „my”. Ostatni wers utworu wprowadza nas w nowy świat, więc bądźcie gotowi: „Nadszedł teraz punów czas!”. Koniec czy początek?
