ŁYSINA LENINA (LENIN’S BALDNESS) was formed in 1989 in Bielawa (Lower Silesian voivodship). They started from fast, melodic punk rock in the atmosphere of 80s. Then they became a part of independent scene and they changed their style for reagge-ska. They played many gigs in Poland and recorded 3 tapes in collaboration with the Arlekin Tapes from Wałbrzych. Their concert recording with other bands – FATE and NEUROPATIA – came out also on mix-tape PUNKY REGGAE PARTY for ABC released by Pasażer. The group disbanded in 2001. Recently they reactivated.
Łysina Lenina’s text refers to fights in capitol in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bloody war lasted almost 4 years and left inconceivably testimony of hate and cruelty. In the name of what? – “the reason and the goal have got stuck in years of fights”.

ŁYSINA LENINA powstała w 1989 roku w Bielawie (woj. dolnośląskie). Zaczęli od szybkiego, melodyjnego punk rocka w klimatach lat 80-ych. Później związali się ze sceną niezależną i zmienili nieco styl na reggae-ska. Zagrali wiele koncertów w Polsce oraz wydali 3 kasety we współpracy z Arlekin Tapes z Wałbrzycha. Ich nagrania koncertowe wraz z zespołami FATE i NEUROPATIA ukazały się także na kasetowej składance PUNKY REGGAE PARTY dla ABC wydanej przez Pasażer. Grupa rozwiązała się w 2001 roku. Niedawno wznowili działalność.
Tekst Łysiny Lenina nawiązuje wprost do walk w stolicy Bośni-Hercegowiny. Krwawa wojna trwała blisko cztery lata, pozostawiając niewyobrażalne świadectwo nienawiści i okrucieństwa. W imię czego? – „przyczyna i cel ugrzęzły w latach walk”.
