CORPUS X was formed in December 1981 in Szczecin. They are known for their performance in 1982 at Jarocin Festival. They used to mix different kind of music styles, playing punk, ska reggae or new wave. A vivid figure of the band is the vocalist Dzidek, organizer of many punk concerts in the 80s, known for publishing independent punk newspapers “Garaż” (“Garage”) and “Reggaebeat” and for being a chief of independent record label Jimmy Jazz Records. The song “Zabili mnie” (“They killed me”) is about conformist society and system that kill freedom within people.

CORPUS X powstał w grudniu 1981 roku w Szczecinie. Znani z występów z ‘82 roku w Jarocinie, gdzie grali u boku takich kapel jak SS-20, Bikini, Rejestracja, Kontrola W czy WC. W swoim repertuarze mieszali różne style muzyczne, od punka po ska reggae czy nową falę. Barwną postacią kapeli jest do dziś wokalista Dzidek, organizator wielu punkowych koncertów w latach 80-ych na Pomorzu Zachodnim, obecnie redaktor naczelny magazynów muzycznych „Garaż” i „Reggaebeat” oraz szef niezależnej wytwórni Jimmy Jazz Records. Zabili mnie to ich sztandarowy utwór. Rzecz o konformistycznym społeczeństwie i systemie, które zabijają w człowieku wolność.
